Our superior classroom training includes 40-60 hours of practical training, 20 hours of basic didactic training, and 20 hours of advanced didactic training. This far exceeds California requirements and, when coupled with our rigorous student vetting and evaluation process, the results speak for themselves. Since 1986 we’ve implemented industry-leading hands on instruction that includes an introduction to common lab equipment in our state of the art facility. Our instruction can also be tailored to meet any custom guidelines required by your site so potential new hires are ready to hit the ground running.
Our students have performed historically well on the NCCT exam. Not only is the first-time test taker pass rate of our students well above 90% every year, but they also average a score well above the required 70% successful question answer rate required for passing the exam. PhlebotomyU has been a partner with MiraCosta TCI since 2013 providing Phlebotomy Technician Training on site, certification examinations and clinical externships. MiraCosta’s Technology Career Institute is located in Carlsbad, CA and offers several programs to gain real-world work experience through hands-on, accelerated and cooperative education offerings. Clinical Externship Partners
We partner with medical sites throughout the San Diego county to provide our students with clinical externships required for phlebotomy certification. We work with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic labs and physician office laboratories to ensure that our students get maximal hands-on experience to go along with their extensive didactic and practical training.
