Obtain a national and California state phlebotomy certification with our Phlebotomy Full Course (Phlebotomy Full Course (CPT I). Simply submit your official or unofficial high school or GED transcript or equivalent and enroll in our San Diego phlebotomy program. Our phlebotomy classes begin every month and come in different schedule formats including:
- 5 weeks, Monday-Friday day classes
- 10 weeks, Saturday & Sunday weekend phlebotomy classes
- 5 weeks, Monday-Friday evening classes
Time to Completion
Each class consists of 40 hours of didactic phlebotomy training and 40-60 hours of hands on practical training. Our course also includes the national phlebotomy exam and an additional 40-120 hour clinical phlebotomy externship at one of our affiliated hospitals or clinics. The variance in time depends on the site, available resources and hands-on phlebotomy training exposure.
